Crafting for Hope

Crafting for Hope was a two-year creative initiative and community fundraiser dedicated to supporting children battling cancer.

This cause is close to my heart. In 2024, my then 9-year old son Henry was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, turning me and my family's life upside down overnight. After a long and heavy journey involving surgery, a year of chemotherapy, six weeks of proton radiation in Denmark, and time away from family, friends and school, his outlook is now bright.

In my life's hardest moment, founding Crafting For Hope was a way to cope and worked as therapy and a way to give back to organizations like St. Jude. When everything felt uncertain, the incredible support from the crafting community represented what hope looks like. For families facing their worst days, hope is everything.

Together, the incredible crafting community raised $6,190 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ensuring that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Thank you for being a part of this journey and making a real-world difference.
